The efficiency and skill of any technical team does not come from classroom lectures & coffeehouse gossip...it comes from actual hands-on day to day operation and a clear understanding of the finer points of the trade. A qualified but tone deaf & wriggly-beat sound engineer can never gel well with professional musicians and other performing artistes. Niether will a lighting engineer who is color blind and without a sense of time or music.
We are a team with many years as individual experience both technically and, some cases, as musicians.Each has his own job specifically laid out and this delegation of duties makes your show move ahead like well oiled engine. The main players in this expert group are:

Ujjal Kar - MD, Lighting Engineer & Sound Engineer

He has been a bass guitarist for ancient bands including Hellfire, MUFF and Apple since 1972. Has also played as a sessions and backup musician for several artistes in the seventies. He has been lighting up major shows since 1983. He also designs & manufactures Lighting consoles & dimmers and is a Process control software consultant to several corporate companies. His technical knowledge is of great help to the group and on numerous occasions, it has solved critical problems for us. The only thing that may get him away from his beloved lighting consoles & fixtures, is the smell of good food cooking nearabouts !!

P.C. Mukherjee - Sound Engineer

He has been a lead guitarist for several bands including Great Bear and Shiva since the late Sixties. He is the founder member of Shiva & Friends of Shiva. He has been a Sound engineer for the last 10 years and has done major gigs. His musical skills are greatly appreciated when it comes to a successful soundcheck. Most artistes feel more at home with a former musician and he is very popular with one & all. His patience is almost legendary !!He has the unique gift of keeping on an expressionless face for hours on the end.


Shubayan
Shubayan Ganguly - Lighting Engineer & Sound Engineer

Shubayan is the youngest of the group & used to bass & sing for the popular Bengali Rock band .." CACTUS". He has been doing lights & sound for the past 8 years and handles lights when mutiple shows come up on the same day. He is also the front guy for the company & does all the lead-in and follow-up for the gigs we do. He also co-ordinates with Event Managers & our crew, in situ. He has unusual energy levels & can, literally, live off the land , while on the job. He also has the unique canine quality of dropping into deep sleep behind a 20K watt speaker tower, going at full blast.

"DJ" Amar Singh - In house DJ & everything that goes with it

Amar ('Amor' in chaste Bengali) handles the Dicso nights while we nod behind the main light & sound consoles. He has all the looks to stand in as a male model (if required) and when it comes to fashion show track playback duty and all the glamour, girls and hollering choreographers that go with it, we simply melt into the backgroud...conviniently!!
